Exploring Employment Elements

Exploring Employment Elements will prepare you to be more proactive in your pursuit of increased job satisfaction. It will assist you to quickly identify salient issues and in collecting the essential data needed to effectively capitalize on employment opportunities. To effectively measure your job satisfaction level, you must first be able to clearly define and understand your personal career, financial and locale goals. You will become familiar with the Think Track Model, a tested tool that can help you better manage your career by focusing on your expectations, perceptions and balance. Expectations (what you are looking forward to) are defined as goals. How well your expectations are met is based on your perceptions. The model will help you balance logic and emotion. You will learn a rating method for pinpointing your overall level of job satisfaction by first assessing your satisfaction with each of three key elements that play an integral part in employment satisfaction: Career, Financial and Locale. There are over 100 exercises in Exploring Employment Elements with approximately 80% focusing on career issues and 20% covering financial and locale (geographic) considerations. You will have the opportunity to evaluate various components of corporate culture and to examine your own personal values to see how those values affect your satisfaction level.
